published the book entitled "CRISP COUNTY-A
PICTORIAL HISTORY" and has given me permission
to use information and pictures contained in
that book.
Some of the photos viewed on
this site are copyrighted and credit as to the
owner is given. I had some doubts as to my right
to use copyrighted photos so I removed them
for a while during which time I researched the
law and practices of other websites and came to
the conclusion that use of "FAIR
USE" photos are permissable as long as I
give credit to the owner and do not use
them to promote any sales. Also this is a site
which is more educational than it
is commercial and, it is my interpetation
of the Fair Use section of the Copyright law,
such photos may be used in such a manner, that
is, to enhance the educational
content.
